- Background Story
Founded by Fatimatu Zarah Ibrahim, the Mom’s Heart Foundation honors the memory of her late mother, who tragically passed away due to complications during childbirth when Fatimatu was only 13. This loss, compounded by the preventable challenges her mother faced in prior pregnancies, inspired Fatimatu to create a foundation dedicated to supporting and educating mothers through the journey of childbirth.
The Mom’s Heart Foundation aims to reduce preventable maternal deaths by providing resources, guidance, and advocacy for safe childbirth practices. Through education and support, the foundation hopes to prevent other families from facing similar tragedies, ensuring mothers receive the care they need to safely bring new life into the world.
